Param Sundari Box Office collection Day 3: Janhvi-Sidharth rom-com maintains weekend pace

New Delhi: The romantic comedy drama, Param Sundari, starring Janhvi Kapoor and Sidharth Malhotra, is showing slow growth at the box office. The film maintained its momentum at the ticket window on its first Monday by minting Rs 10.25 crore, according to early estimates on industry tracker Sacnilk.

The film, directed by Tushar Jalota and produced by Maddock Films, has been not been able to beat Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone’s Chennai Express, which minted Rs 32.50 crore on its third day. On the other hand, the film was not able to even beat the collection of Alia Bhatt and Arjun Kapoor-starrer 2 States, which minted Rs 13.55 crore on its first Sunday.

Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor’s rom-com, Param Sundari, opened with Rs 7.25 crore and witnessed a 27.59 per cent growth on its first Saturday by collecting Rs 9.25 crore. On its first Sunday, the film minted Rs 10.25 crore, as per early estimates on the industry tracker Sacnilk, taking the three-day total to Rs 25.75 crore.

The film collected Rs 26.8 crore at the worldwide box office while grossed Rs 19.8 crore in India in its three-day run at the box office. At the overseas market, it earned Rs 7 crore.

Made on a reported budget of Rs 50 crore, the film also stars Manjot Singh, Sanjay Kapoor, Renji Panicker, Innayat Verma and Tanvi Ram in important roles. The film opened with mixed reviews. It revolves around a Delhi boy who falls in love with a South Indian girl.
