New Delhi: Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor are one of the most loved couples in the Indian entertainment industry. Speaking at the launch of her nutritionist Rujuta Diwekar's book The Commonsense Diet a few days ago, the 44-year-old diva revealed that she and her actor-husband has developed a habit of cooking at home. Bebo was quoted by PTI as saying that they have started enjoying the process so much that it has now become a way of life.
Kareena admitted that Saif is a better cook, revealing that she cannot even boil an egg. Well, this confirms that the 54-year-old hunk is a man of many talents. He can not only play a brilliant chef onscreen but also work wonders in the kitchen in real life.
Another interesting thing she shared about her food choices is that she is not picky and does not mind eating the same thing repeatedly. You will be amazed to know that if Kareena doesn't eat khichdi for three days, she actually starts craving it. She further mentioned that her cook is exhausted because she wants to eat the same food for 10-15 days. Kareena is believed to be so obsessed with khichdi that she would be perfectly happy having it five days a week, especially with a little dollop of ghee on top.
Coming from the Kapoor family, which is known for its love for food, Kareena was asked about one dish her family is obsessed with. She responded by saying that paaya soup is the golden dish for the Kapoor clan.
On the professional front, Kareena was last seen on the silver screen in Singham Again. Directed by blockbuster filmmaker Rohit Shetty, the action thriller took the box office by storm on November 1, 2024, coinciding with the joyous occasion of Diwali.
The much-talked-about film also featured Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Tiger Shroff, Deepika Padukone, Arjun Kapoor, Shweta Tiwari, Ravi Kishan and Jackie Shroff in pivotal roles. The movie was rumoured to be made on a jaw-dropping budget, placing it among the most expensive films ever made in India.
On IMDb (Internet Movie Database), Singham Again is rated 4.8 out of 10, based on insights from almost 75,000 users. It marked the fifth instalment of Shetty's Cop Universe franchise.
According to Sacnilk, Singham Again raked in Rs 297.4 crore at the Indian Box Office during its theatrical run. The industry tracker further states that it minted Rs 75 crore overseas, taking the total worldwide collection to Rs 372.4 crore.
Co-produced under Rohit Shetty Picturez, alongside Reliance Entertainment, Jio Studios and Devgn Films, Singham Again opened to mixed reviews from critics. It brought back Devgn as the iconic Bajirao Singham. The film is currently available for streaming on Prime Video.
