The makers unveiled the first teaser of Sarzameen, starring Prithviraj Sukumaran, Kajol, and Ibrahim Ali Khan. The film is scheduled to release in theatres on July 25, 2025.
New Delhi: The first teaser of Sarzameen, starring Prithiraj Sukumaran, Kajol, and Ibrahim Ali Khan, is finally out. After Nadaniyaan, Sarzameen marks the second film of Ibrahim Ali Khan.
In the first announcement teaser, Prithviraj Sukumaran is seen as a soldier who is ready to sacrifice everything for his nation. The emotionally charged thriller shows Kajol as a wife of a soldier and Ibrahim essays the role of a terrorist. The teaser also delves into the rage behind the frontlines where the cost of duty is not just sacrifice, but suspicion.

The film is set against the backdrop of an increasingly volatile Kashmir and follows the story of Vijay Menon (played by Prithviraj Sukumaran), an army officer, known for his unshakable sense of duty. Kajol essays the role of Meera, who holds the family together and Ibrahim plays the role of a man caught between shadowed memories and unsettling truths.
Sharing the announcement teaser, JioHotstar wrote in the caption, "Sarzameen ki salamati se badhkar kuch nahi #Sarzameen, releasing July 25, only on #JioHotstar.”
Directed by Kayoze Irani and produced by Dharma Productions’ Hiroo Johar, Karan Johar, Adar Poonawalla, Apoorva Mehta and Star Studios. the film is slated to have a direct-to-OTT release on JioHotstar on July 25th. It is written by Soumil Shukla and Arun Singh.
The film is touted to be a hard-hitting patriotic film which revolves around combating terrorism in Kashmir.
