New Delhi: The Mumbai Police have increased patrolling around comedian-actor Kapil Sharma’s Mumbai residence following the second attack at the his Kap’s café in Surrey, Canada. According to the latest reports, officers are preventing unidentified individuals from loitering near the actor’s building.
According to sources, police officials may meet Kapil Sharma on Friday (August 8) to discuss the attack linked to gangster Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldy Dhillon, who took the responsibility for the second attack at the Kap’s café. However, there is no official confirmation on the same.
After the firing incident, Kap’s café in Surrey has reportedly condemned the recent shooting incident and thanked local authorities for their swift response. Goldy Dhillon of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang has claimed the responsibility for the shooting at the comedian Kapil Sharma’s Kap’s café in Surrey.
In a Facebook post, the Lawrence Bishnoi gang send the stern warning to Kapil, which read, “JAI SHRI RAM, Satshriakal ram sare bhaiyo ko aj jo y kapil sharma k kaps cafe..Surrey m firing hui iski jimevari, Goldy dhillon, Lawrence bishnoi gang lete h isko hamne call ki thi isko ring nhi Sunai di to karwai krni pdi ab b ring n sunegi to next karwai jaldi hi Mumbai krege."
However, the police is still investigating the case and verifying the authenticity of the Facebook post. The video of the firing incident also surfaced on the internet.
On Thursday (August 7), shots were fired at comedian and actor Kapil Sharma’s café in Canada for the second time in a month. Surrey Police Service said in an official statement, “At approximately 4:40 am on August 7, SPS Frontline officers responded to a report of shots fired outside a business in the 8400 block of 120 Street. The same business was the location of a similar incident on July 10. Numerous SPS police resources and Delta Police Department units responded and while it appears multiple shots caused damage to the windows and building, fortunately the staff on premises were uninjured.”
Earlier, the eatery was attacked late night on July 9 and back then, Khalistani terrorist Harjeet Singh Laddi had claimed the responsibility for the firing.
