Shah Rukh Khan sustained a muscle injury while filming an action sequence for his upcoming film King. The actor has flown to the U.S. for treatment, with sources confirming he's recovering well and expected to return to India soon.
New Delhi: Shah Rukh Khan sustained an injury while shooting for his upcoming action film King. Reportedly, the incident temporarily halted the production of one of Bollywood’s most anticipated projects. The actor suffered the injury during the filming of an intense stunt sequence at Mumbai’s Golden Tobacco Studio.
The Bollywood superstar, who stars alongside his daughter Suhana Khan for the first time on-screen, was said to have been in the middle of a physically demanding scene when the mishap took place. Although the precise nature of the injury has not been disclosed, it has been described as muscular in nature.

As per reports, Shah Rukh and his team have travelled to the United States for medical consultation. A source close to the actor told TV9 English, "The treatment was for his shoulder muscle, and now he is fine and likely to return to India soon."
The actor has been advised a full month of rest to recuperate. As a result, the next leg of King’s shoot has been pushed to September or October. "The next schedule of King will now begin in September or October, as SRK has been advised to take time off for recovery. Once fully recovered, he will return to the sets with full force,” reported Bollywood Hungama.
In light of the setback, all scheduled shoots between July and August, spanning Film City, YRF Studios, and Golden Tobacco Studio, have been reportedly cancelled. No official statement has been issued by SRK or his representatives as of now.
