New Delhi: The South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA) 2025 began with grandeur at the Dubai Exhibition Centre, Expo City, on Friday, September 5. The first day of the two-day celebration was dedicated to Telugu cinema, where the biggest stars and filmmakers of the industry came together for a night of glamour and recognition.

Prabhas’ Kalki 2898 AD emerged as the biggest winner, taking home the Best Film trophy. Allu Arjun’s powerful performance earned him the Best Actor award, while director Sukumar was felicitated with Best Director. Bollywood icon Amitabh Bachchan was recognised with the Best Supporting Actor award for his role in Kalki 2898 AD.
