New Delhi: Bigg Boss 19 contestant Tanya Mittal’s ex-boyfriend, Balraj Singh, has been arrested at Mumbai airport, shocking fans and fueling controversy around the reality show star. Balraj, a well-known social media influencer and politician from Uttar Pradesh, has been publicly criticising Tanya since her time on the show, calling her fake and accusing her of lying about her lifestyle. His arrest adds another twist to the drama that has surrounded Tanya both inside and outside the Bigg Boss house.
Balraj Singh is not just Tanya’s ex but also a prominent digital figure with over 2.6 million followers on Instagram and a YouTube channel with 82,000 subscribers. He is also the Sarpanch of Gram Panchayat Sehalpura. Since Tanya entered Bigg Boss 19, Balraj openly called her ‘fake’ and accused her of projecting false stories. He ridiculed her claims of having 150 bodyguards, living in a mansion grander than a seven-star hotel, and drinking from silver utensils as exaggerated lies.
On top of this, Balraj sent a legal notice to Tanya’s team for misusing his videos on her social media platforms. He told Times Now, “They can’t put my videos without my consent,” and said that the posts gave a misleading impression of their past relationship. He stated he could have filed a defamation case, but has stopped at issuing the notice for now.
Balraj also accused Tanya of manipulative behaviour, wrongly treating staff, and maintaining a high-maintenance image. He said their relationship ended because he “doesn’t stay friends with fake people.” Meanwhile, Tanya revealed in a podcast that she broke up with an ex in 2018 because he did not find her “beautiful enough,” which many believe referred to Balraj. This breakup pushed her to transform, gain confidence, and become an influencer and motivational speaker.
The reasons behind Balraj’s arrest remain unclear, but this development has added more intrigue to the ongoing saga around Tanya Mittal. Fans await more updates on what happens next in this unfolding drama.
