However, amid hearsay, reports emerging say that the duo are all set to have a summer wedding in Rhode Island. Page Six reported that the couple is planning a private wedding with main focus on their families at Swift’s seaside mansion in Watch Hill worth $17.5 million. A major reason for many to believe it is the ongoing renovation works.

The mansion, purchased by the pop singer in 2013, is spread over 5 acres with incredible views of the Atlantic Ocean. It features eight bedrooms and 10 bathrooms. As per the renovation permits, the kitchen is getting a remodel and a new bedroom wing is getting added to the mansion. 

The outlet claimed that the couple is looking for a date after the end of the NFL season. It is believed that the event would be casual with a guest list consisting of family and close friends. 

Swift's Rhode Island mansion has been the venue for her popular Fourth of July parties. It has featured celebrities like Blake Lively and Ed Sheeran. The singer also referenced her house in the song "The Last Great American Dynasty", released in 2020.

The duo announced their engagement through an Instagram post.  Kansas City Chiefs star was seen kneeling infront of the singer, asking for her hand, in a beautiful garden. He sealed their love with a diamond ring worth a whopping  $650,000. The social media post was funnily captioned, " Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married." 

Fans of the 35-year-old singer gushed over the couple. They showered her with best wishes and shared their excitement online.
