Tiger Shroff's Baaghi 4 undergoes 23 cuts: Frontal nude, excessive violent scenes and more

New Delhi: Tiger Shroff and Sanjay Dutt-starrer Baaghi 4 is slated to hit theatres on September 5, 2025. The film received ‘A’ certificate from the Central Board of Certification for showing bloodshed and violence in the film but still had to undergo several video and audio cuts.

According to Bollywood Hungama report, the film underwent 23 visual and audio cuts, which include frontal nude scene, lighting a cigarette from Niranjan diya, and others. Meanwhile, the film also stars Sonam Bajwa and Harnaaz Sandhu in pivotal roles.

The Examining Committee (EC) has asked the makers to delete the scene of the hero standing on a coffin, a character lighting a cigarette from a Niranjan diya, and to replace the scene of rubbing the hand on the hip of a girl, according to a report by the publication. Additionally, a frontal nude scene in the film which CBFC had asked to “hide”. Another scene of lighting a cigarette from an amputated hand, featuring Sanjay Dutt, also shown in the trailer was also asked to be deleted.

Additionally, EC asked makers to delete a shot where a knife is thrown towards the statue of Jesus Christ. The censor board also asked makers to remove the ‘scene of hit of fist and leaning of the statue of Jesus Christ’. Apart from these, several violent scenes were cut by the censor board including three throat cut scenes, shots of hands being axed and two shots of goons being cut and killed by swords. A 11-second scene showing excessive violence was also deleted by the CBFC along with a killing of a character by inserting a sword in someone’s skull was also deleted.

Apart from visual cuts, the Central Board of Certification also asked for audio cuts in the film. The words ‘bhang b*****a’ was replaced by ‘b****e'. The word ‘fingerig’ used by cops was also replaced by an appropriate word. In the dialogue, “Bhai tujhe condom mein hi rehna chahiye tha”, the word 'condom' was muted.

The dialogue “Tera wajood hi mit jaayega God” was replaced with “Sab dekhte reh jayenge” and “Woh bhi darta hai mujhse” was replaced with “Don khoke, ekdum ok”.

After all the cuts and edits, the film’s runtime is now 2 hours, 43 minutes and 50 seconds.
