Varun Tej and Lavanya Tripathi welcome baby boy - See first PIC of newborn

New Delhi: Celebrity couple Varun Tej and Lavanya Tripathi have welcomed their first child, a baby boy, on September 10, 2025. The couple embraced parenthood after two years of their marriage. made an official announcement on social media with an adorable post.

The couple tied the knot in November 2023 in the presence of close friends and family members. Their wedding was a star-studded affair with A-listers of Telugu cinema in attendance, including Chiranjeevi, Pawan Kalyan, and Allu Arjun, among others.

Taking to Instagram, Varun Tej shared a picture from the hospital. In the photo, Lavanya can be seen holding their newborn baby boy in her arms, and Varun is hugging his wife. He wrote in the caption, “Our little man 10.09.2025.” As soon as they shared the news on Instagram, congratulations and love poured in.

Actor Chiranjeevi also shared a picture with a newborn and wrote in the caption, “Welcome to the world, little one! A hearty welcome to the newborn baby boy in the Konidela family. Heartfelt congratulations to Varun Tej and Lavanya Tripathi on becoming proud parents. So happy for Nagababu and Padmaja, who are now promoted to proud grandparents. Wishing the baby boy all the happiness, good health, and blessings in abundance. May your love and blessings always surround our child.”

In May this year, the couple made their pregnancy announcement. The caption on the post read, “Life’s most beautiful role yet - Coming soon.”

In August, Lavanya and Tej shared a picture on Instagram where she flaunted her baby bump. They wrote in the caption, “Wishing you and your family a blessed  Vinayaka Chavithi filled with love, happiness, and harmony.”

Meanwhile, on the work front, Varun Tej will be next seen in an Indo-Korean horror comedy film, tentatively titled VT15. It is directed by Merlapaka Gandhi and produced by UV Creations and First Frame Entertainment. For the film, he is undergoing Taekwondo training and will be seen in a wizard-like character. According to reports, the film is 80 per cent completed. He was last seen in the Telugu film, Matka, which is based on the story of Vasu, who rose from poverty and built a powerful gambling empire.
