The film's ticket counter has been open in North America some days ago and is grossing quite well there. Whereas in India, the total tickets sold as reported by Sacnilk are as follows: The Hindi version in 2D collected Rs 30.11 lakh. Which led to 7535 tickets all over. Whereas Hindi IMAX collected Rs 87000 from 20 shows. While in the Tamil version, the total tickets sold so far are 858, and in Telugu, the total gross is Rs 72000 so far.
The War 2 ticket window went live on August 10 at midnight, and the makers of the film have chosen to release it across 5000 screens in India.
