New Delhi: Actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh has reportedly walked out of the highly-awaited No Entry 2 due to scheduling conflicts. The movie also stars Arjun Kapoor and Varun Dhawan, according to reports. According to a report by Peeping Moon, Diljit’s packed touring schedule for his upcoming Aura Tour was becoming a challenge for the No Entry team.
Diljit’s Aura Tour will start from October 26 and will be concluded on November 13. Earlier, Diljit faced massive backlash over featuring Pakistani actress Hania Amir in Sardaar Ji 3 with film federation demanding his exit from Border 2.
Diljit Dosanjh walks out of No Entry 2?
According to the publications report, No Entry requires extensive planning for its massive sequel and Diljit Dosanjh’s dates couldn’t align with the film shoot. Given the challenges, the makers and Diljit have decided to amicably and mutually part ways on the project. Meanwhile, Diljit will commence his upcoming tour in Australia and New Zealand.
Producer Boney Kapoor also confirmed the same with NDTV and was quoted as saying, "Yes, we have parted in good spirits as the dates were not aligning with our requirements, hopefully, we will soon do a Punjabi film together."
According to reports, producer Boney Kapoor tried to resolve the issue and Boney Kapoor personally met the actor on the sets of Border 2 to persuade him to reconsider. Following this, Diljit and his team tried to adjust the schedule to match the film’s shooting plan but despite efforts, aligning his commitments with the production seemed impossible. Hence, Diljit had to walk out of the film.
Now, makers are looking for the replacement for the replacement. However, finding a replacement in such a short notice is a challenge for the makers as the shoot was supposed to commence in October. This could also mean another delay for the much-anticipated sequel.
