Yash Toxic poster release date: The countdown to one of 2026’s most anticipated films has officially begun. With exactly 100 days left for the release of Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups, the makers have ignited fresh excitement by unveiling a bold new poster featuring Yash in a haunting, blood-soaked avatar. The image has quickly set social media ablaze, adding more fuel to the already surging anticipation around the project.
The film is scheduled to arrive on March 19, 2026, perfectly positioned for the festive lineup of Gudi Padwa, Ugadi and Eid. The strategic four-day holiday window is expected to give Toxic a strong boost at the box office. However, it will also face tough competition with Ranveer Singh starrer Dhurandhar 2, which will release in theatres on the same date.
To mark the milestone, the team shared a visually gripping poster showing Yash reclining in a bathtub filled with blood. His chiselled physique, intricate tattoos and the dim, dramatic lighting combine to create a striking, almost mythical frame. With his face intentionally concealed, the composition deepens the mystery surrounding his character. Fans have flooded social media calling it one of the film’s “most powerful posters yet,” and many noted the stark tonal shift from Yash’s previous roles.

However, the release has sparked discussions about a potential clash with Dhurandhar 2. One fan wrote, “Clash With Dhurandhar 2. Clash Should Be Avoided. Both Movies are going to be huge. #Toxic & #Dhurandhar2.” Another commented, “Let’s be honest, it would be foolish to keep the same date and Dhurandhar 2 will eat this film alive otherwise… Dhurandhar 2 is taking 50cr + Opening minimum.”

The makers also revealed key creative names behind the film. National Award-winning cinematographer Rajeev Ravi is shaping its visual treatment, while long-time Yash collaborator Ravi Basrur is composing the music. Editing is being handled by Ujwal Kulkarni, and production design is led by TP Abid.
Hollywood action director JJ Perry, known for his work on John Wick, has crafted some of the film’s major action set-pieces. The screenplay has been co-written by Yash and Geetu Mohandas, with the latter also directing the film. Shot simultaneously in English and Kannada, Toxic is expected to receive a large multilingual release, with dubbed versions in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and more.
Produced by Venkat K Narayana and Yash under KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations, the film is already being positioned as a massive pan-India event.
