New Delhi: Garima Saikia Garg, wife of the late singer Zubeen Garg, shared a handwritten note from him with fans before the release of his last film, Roi Roi Binale, in Assam. The film, deeply emotional for many, features Zubeen as the lead, a blind musician struggling through life.

Fans eagerly await what is expected to be a milestone in Assamese cinema. The heartfelt note and the film remind everyone of Zubeen’s immense talent and the sudden mystery around his death.

Garima Saikia Garg shared a very special handwritten note from her late husband, famous singer Zubeen Garg, just before the release of his last film, Roi Roi Binale. The note was written by Zubeen on September 15, inviting his fans to watch his new movie. It reads in Assamese, Roi Roi Binale. Mur notun cinema. Sabole aahibo. 'Morom'. Zubeen da, which means "My new film. Do come and watch it. 'With love.'"

Garima posted the note on Instagram with a touching message. She wrote, "The letters you wrote on 15th September... A loving appeal to your beloved people!" She added, "Every word hits the heart, Goldie! But amongst all this, there's burning in the empty chest. Another question -- what happened on September 19? How, why? I don't know where there is peace, but I don't feel like breathing until I get this answer."

 About the film

The film Roi Roi Binale is set to release in all cinemas across Assam on Friday. Tickets for shows next week are already sold out, showing the huge love fans have for Zubeen and his work. As reported by PTI, because of high demand, the number of shows in cinemas has increased. Some cinemas will have up to seven shows a day, starting as early as 4:45 am, and the last show will end around 2:30 am.

In this film, Zubeen plays the lead role of a blind musician. The film has 11 songs, all composed by Zubeen himself. The story shows the life and struggles of a musician. The trailer shows a touching scene where the musician lies unconscious on a beach, and someone tries to wake him up, which feels deeply moving given Zubeen’s sudden passing.

Zubeen Garg also produced Roi Roi Binale along with his wife, Garima and Shyamantak Gautam. The movie, directed by Rajesh Bhuyan, runs for 146 minutes. Zubeen passed away mysteriously on September 19 in Singapore while swimming in the sea, leaving fans and family heartbroken.

Roi Roi Binale stands as a tribute to Zubeen Garg’s remarkable talent and spirit. Fans and viewers are coming together to celebrate his last work and legacy through this special film.
