Erika Eiffel is an objectophile, which means she feels love and romance for inanimate things. In 2007, she decided to symbolically marry the Eiffel Tower. The marriage was held in a private ceremony where she committed to the monument. Despite the lack of legal recognition, Erika saw the marriage as an expression of her deep love for the monument.

Her last known obsession was a fence. Speaking of her newfound love, Erika stated, "Fences are such dangerous objects for me because they are so perfect in their geometry. I’m definitely physically attracted to this fence and I would like to get to know this fence better." Erika has also been in love with the Berlin Wall for 20 years.
