Tirumala: Reliance Industries Chairman, Mukesh Ambani, visited Tirumala Tirupati shrine to offer prayers at Lord Venkateswara Swamy Temple on Sunday.
He announced during the visit that a modern state-of-the-art kitchen will be constructed dedicated to the Anna Prasadam Trust that will serve 2 lakh meals.
Anna Prasadam trust is set up in collaboration with Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) and the AP state government, which will serve 2,00,000 meals daily.
The kitchen will be equipped with advanced automation to make sure nutritious food is prepared with devotion and purity. Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu sought to extend the vision of Anna Seva across all TTD temples.
Ambani emphasised that the mission is to make sure no one goes hungry and thanked the TTD, AP government for their initiatives.
He also visited Guruvayur Sri Krishna temple in Thrissur, Kerala, where he donated Rs 15 crore for temple development and services.
