New Delhi: A French citizen revealed how the decision to move to India changed her life. Her testimony inspired many people online. Some were even motivated to move to India. Julia Chaigneau, a French designer, shared that she relocated top India about two years ago. Since it, the country became her home. 

In a post on X,  Chaigneau said, "Hi I’m Julia, a French designer and almost two years ago, I moved to India. One of the best decisions I’ve ever made, even if nobody around me understood it then (or now). I was looking for a place where being ambitious didn’t feel like something I had to apologise for. I wanted a place where helping each other and being warmer would be the norm."

Further, the French woman stated that she wasn't sure of what to expect in India. Fortunately, it felt at home and she even fell in love with Indian cuisine. 

"I moved without really knowing what I would find and didn’t expect to just feel home in a place so different than where I come from. And of course, I fell in love with the flavours and endless variety of dishes though I’ll never get through them all in one lifetime,” said the French woman. She ended the post with a note of gratefulness. One commented, "Awesome story Julia! Glad to know you found a homely place in India." Another individual stated, "In mindfulness, we celebrate your drive. It's like finding inner peace amidst a colorful festival—joyful and unapologetic!" 

A third individual stated, "Dishes, clothing, festivals,culture- all have long histories that tell tales. Hope you have a good time living here. I'd suggest you to visit the east of the country, its underrated and unexplored."
