The Indian aviation sector is currently experiencing significant upheaval as IndiGo, one of the country's premium and largest air carriers, faces its fourth consecutive day of extensive flight disruptions. This crisis has not only affected thousands of IndiGo passengers but has also triggered a severe ripple effect, impacting the schedules and operations of other airlines, notably Air India and SpiceJet.

The scale of the disruption is substantial, with over 550 IndiGo flights cancelled or significantly delayed across the country. Specific reports highlight 191 cancellations in major hubs such as Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, and Hyderabad alone.

Kolkata Airport also reported more than 20 cancellations and over 100 impacted flights. This widespread chaos has created a challenging environment at airports, overwhelming ground staff and leaving passengers in prolonged uncertainty.
