This woman is allergic to her husband and everything else!

Washington DC: Johanna Watkins from Minnesota suffers from a rare condition that makes her allergic to everything, including her husband. Her condition makes it difficult for her to kiss or spend time with her husband. They even stay separate due to health issues.
Watkins suffers from a rare disorder called Mast Cell Activation Syndrome, which makes her allergic to everything, even the scent of her husband. As a result, Watkins has to take precautions to prevent her triggers from being activated. The woman revealed that she lives in an attic room equipped with air filters. The windows and doors in the room are sealed.

Speaking to the BBC on how she manages her relationship with her husband, Scott, despite the illness, she said, "Scott and I will try to watch a show together. We can't be in the room together, because I'm allergic to him, but he will be three floors below me in a room on his laptop, and I will be on mine and we'll watch the show at the same time and then text about it as we're watching it."
However, her condition wasn't this bad before marrying Scott in 2013. Previously, Watkins, who worked as a teacher, suffered from unusual rashes, irritable skin, etc. However, it was only after their wedding that the symptoms became worse.
She realised she developed anaphylactic symptoms when her husband came close to her. As a result, the duo have developed a system to be in each other's lives without being physically close. "There's not an easy way around this problem. I want to keep Johanna safe, and I'm going to see her compromise her safety," said Scott. He said he was helping her by refraining from being next to her.
In spite of the sickness, they determined to stay together and help each other through the disorder.
