A high-level meeting is to be held on Monday.
It was on May 3, 2023 that crisis in Manipur broke out, which killed more than 260 people and left over 60,000 displaced. Chief Minister N Biren Singh had to quit on February 9, 2025.
On February 13 last year, following threats by legislators to move a no-confidence motion, President’s Rule was imposed. This put the state under suspended animation.
