‘Pure gold’: Anand Mahindra hails Assam Police’s funny New Year anti–drunk driving message
Mahindra Group chairman Anand Mahindra has praised Assam Police's creative messages on drunk driving campaign on social media, featuring with funny warnings.
New Delhi: Mahindra Group chairman Anand Mahindra, who is known for sharing provocative, inspirational, and witty messages on social media, shared two posters of Assam Police on Wednesday, December 31, the last day of the year.

Assam Police, in its posters, said that those found drunk while driving will be put in jail. With the tag #NoRegretNewYear, the Assam Police in one of the two posters have advised people not to drive if drunk.

Sharing the two photos on X, Anand Mahindra wrote, " It’s that time of year when our Police Forces around the country get creative with their messaging. Asking people to avoid drunk driving, the Assam Police shared a poster on X with a funny caption that read, "If you’re driving after drinking, we’re looking for you, and DJ Lockup is ready for the meet-and-greet.” Sharing another poster it added, "New Year Party Invite. Inviting drunk drivers for a New Year's Party, entry guaranteed, exit depends.”
Anand Mahindra shares video of Brihadisvara Temple
Last week, he shared a video of the Brihadisvara Temple in Tamil Nadu. He called the 11th century structure "the world’s most sophisticated ancient engineering.”. His message on X renewed public interest in the Chola era marvel.
Sharing the video, he wrote, "I’ve been posting stories about exotic locations & landscapes, but touring the great temples of India is a worthy obsession in itself. Visiting them is more than a spiritual trip; the temples are visually breathtaking. But it’s also an exploration of the world’s most sophisticated ancient engineering.”
"Brihadeeswara Temple in Thanjavur was built between 1003 and 1010 CE and constructed from granite, without any mortar, using a sophisticated interlocking stone technique that has withstood earthquakes for a millennium,” he added in the same message.
