US vlogger gets 'robbed' by monkeys; internet calls it 'peak Indian experience'

A group of monkeys 'robbed' an American travel vlogger. He lost his chocolate cake and oranges. Netizens filled the comments section with funny comments. Some consoled him. Watch the video here!

Chennai: US vlogger took to social media to share that he got robbed by monkeys. Netizens were quick to respond to the video. They told the man to relax and called it a "peak Indian experience". 

Travel vlogger @vanboys222, who is currently exploring India, shared a video of him getting robbed by a group of monkeys. The content creator was riding his bike through Tamil Nadu's Kodaikanal when the incident happened. The monkeys came out of nowhere when the man decided to pause for a bit. They attacked the bag that contained a chocolate cake and some oranges. The video showed the man helplessly watching the little robbers get away with his treats. He even called for help at one point. However, the monkeys continued to munch on his food.

“I got robbed in India. Can’t believe these guys got me. I was saving that chocolate cake and oranges for tonight. Now I’m hungry,” said the man in the video. The incident garnered several comments. Many did not take him seriously; they laughed and told the man that it was normal in most touristy places in India. They called it the "peak Indian experience". Other foreigners who have travelled in Asian countries that it was a bad idea to carry food while sightseeing on a scooter. 

"Told you to watch out for the . I had to deal with them today as well," said one fellow traveller. Another person explained, "Bro, it's India. India is for humans, animals, birds, and even for nature.....This is our incredible India. We share emotional attachment and celebrate our relation with Mother Nature." A third individual commented, "Hahaha. First thing you learn driving a scooter in Asia. No bags on the scooter. Don't carry food or drinks. Mind your glasses." 

A user consoled the man and told him that he need not worry about going to bed hungry, as Indians welcome tourists with open arms and wouldn't hesitate to feed them.
