New Delhi: Team India spinner Kuldeep Yadav admitted that he is "bad with DRS" appeals after his funny banter with veteran batter Rohit Sharma during India's series-clinching win against South Africa in the third ODI in Visakhapatnam.

The Men in Blue defeated South Africa by 9 wickets in the series-deciding match. Kuldeep and Prasidh Krishna picked up four wickets each as South Africa bowled out for 270 runs in 47.5 overs. Quinton de Kock scored a brilliant hundred, while Temba Bavuma also amassed 48 runs.

Yashasvi Jaiswal notched up his maiden ODI hundred, while Rohit and Virat Kohli also scored brilliant fifties as India chased down the target in 39.5 overs.

Fielding at first slip, Rohit exchanged a funny banter with Kuldeep Yadav. He stopped Kuldeep from appealing on at least three occasions and put pressure on skipper KL Rahul to use the Decision Review System (DRS) on Saturday.

'As a bowler, you always think that it's your wicket'

After the match, Kuldeep said that he's bad with DRS calls and feels that one review is just reserved for him. He further added that as a bowler, he thinks it's always out.

"But Rohit bhai, KL bhai, they are standing behind the wicket, so they have a better idea if the ball is missing the stumps, about the height and impact. But I always think that the batter is out," Kuldeep said in a BCCI video.

The spinner further added that there are only two DRS in one innings of a match, so you need the right people to guide you; otherwise, bowlers could end up wasting those reviews.

"So I must give credit to them too for ensuring that the DRS option is used wisely and we don't end up thinking that we have wasted them. Rohit bhai has been there always, he clearly asks me what do I think about the line," he added.  Kuldeep also bagged the Impact Player of the Series award after taking nine wickets in the ODI series.

India will next face South Africa in the first T20I of a five-match series in Cuttack on Tuesday, December 9.
