New Delhi: Cricket Australia has confirmed that all Indian fan zones across the eight venues for the upcoming white-ball series are officially sold out with more than 50 days remaining. The announcement reflects the scale of excitement surrounding the clash between India and Australia, two of cricket’s fiercest rivals.

The fan zones reserved for Indian supporters are designed to create a vibrant home-like atmosphere for the touching side. The demand was so strong that not only did those tickets vanish quickly but public tickets for games in Sydney and Canberra have also been fully booked.

Executive General Manager of Events and Operations at Cricket Australia, Joel Morrison, expressed delight at the overwhelming response. He said, "We are thrilled by the passion shown by fans. The sell-out of Indian fan zones across all venues highlights just how much this series means. We are expecting a world-class contest and an incredible atmosphere."

Rivalry that never disappoints

The India-Australia rivalry has produced some of cricket’s most gripping moments in recent years from epic Test battles to high-scoring limited-overs thrillers. Both squads are star-packed and are eager to leave a mark; the stage is set for another chapter in their storied competition.

For Indian supporters, the sold-out zones are a statement of intent that they are ready to back their team loudly and passionately on foreign soil. For players, it guarantees they will never feel too far from home, no matter which city they are in.

Series schedule

India's tour kicks off with a three-match ODI series beginning on October 19 in Perth. The second ODI will be played on October 23 at the Adelaide Oval, followed by the final at the Sydney Cricket Ground on October 25.

The focus then will shift to the five-match T20I series, which will start in Canberra on October 29. The action continues with marquee fixtures at the Melbourne Cricket Ground and The Gabba while Hobart and the Gold Coast also get their share of the high-voltage contest.

With Indian fans known for travelling in large numbers and creating carnival-like support in the stands, the scenes are expected to rival the energy of home matches in India.

 T20I Series v India: Wednesday, October 29: Manuka Oval, Canberra, (N); Friday, October 31: MCG, Melbourne, (N); Sunday, November 2: Bellerive Oval, Hobart, (N); Thursday, November 6: Gold Coast Stadium, Gold Coast, (N); Saturday, November 8: The Gabba, Brisbane, (N).
