Apple has opened its fourth retail store in India, in Koregaon Park, Pune. The store, called Apple Koregaon Park, will open its doors on September 4 at 1 p.m. IST. This is the first store in Pune, and it follows closely after Apple opened its third store in India in Bengaluru. The opening reinforces the strengthening retail presence in the country as Apple increases its presence in the country.
The new Pune store has recently revealed its barricade design, which displays colourful artwork with references to the peacock, the national bird of India. The design resembles the theme in Apple Hebbal in Bengaluru, signifying a feeling of pride and vibrancy. Apple wants to embrace Indian culture as a strategy in retail. The customers who visit the Pune store will have access to the entire product range offered by Apple, dedicated support, and interactive experiences that will help them to improve upon their experience.
Both the Apple Koregaon Park and Apple Hebbal stores are designed with a peacock-inspired theme, honouring the Indian national heritage. The bold art decoration does not only contribute to the visual identity of the store, but it also makes it culturally associated with the local customers.
Customers to the new store will be able to receive assistance from trained specialists, creatives, and geniuses. They also will have access to Today at Apple sessions, free workshops in photography, art, music, and coding. Furthermore, Apple is launching digital-first experiences that include the services of ‘Shop with a Specialist over Video’ and personalised support through the Apple Store app to make customers’ shopping easier.
Before the opening, Apple launched exclusive wallpapers, a playlist curated by Apple Music with songs inspired by Pune, and information about the new store on its official site. These products will be used to generate enthusiasm and generate connection among Apple consumers in the market.
