New Delhi: L’Oréal has once more taken centre stage at CES 2026, where it has announced a new collection of innovations in beauty technologies that combine skincare, haircare and high-tech science. The company launched three products at the international technology convention, including a Light Straight + Multi-styler, an LED Face Mask, and a next-generation LED Eye Mask; all are at-home products.
The most incredible display was the ultra-thin and bendable LED eye mask, designed to resemble more of a soft wearable technology than a conventional beauty tool. The new prototype of L’Oréal with its lightweight design and small form element is an indicator of the transition to the technology of skincare that is more comfortable and focused on accuracy.
The LED Eye Mask of L’Oréal has only been on a prototype stage, yet it has already attracted attention because of its skin-like pliability. The mask is created using ultra-thin silicone, and thus it wraps tightly around the eye region rather than remaining insensibly attached to the face. The pictures that the company is posting depict it being red in a glow when in use and easily fitting into the small carrying case.
The mask was created in collaboration with iSmart and provides the light therapy within 10 minutes. It employs the red light of 630 nm and the near-infrared light of 830 nm, which is regulated by a small built-in circuit placed inside the transparent mask. L’Oréal states that, according to this arrangement, light gets to the skin more precisely, which might lead to better treatment outcomes.
L’Oréal also presented a full LED face mask with the same technology as the eye mask. The sales of both the LEDs are supposed to begin in 2027. The company says that they are going to be positioned as premium products and sold below the most expensive LED masks in the market.
Another product that L’Oréal will launch is a special serum that will be utilised with the LED masks. The serum will ensure that the skin is hydrated when undergoing the light therapy, and it might assist in amplifying the overall benefit of the treatment.
L’Oréal launched Light Straight + Multi-styler, a styling item that utilises infrared light rather than harsh heat in the haircare industry. The conventional flat irons reach temperatures of over 400 degrees Fahrenheit, leading to lasting damage to the hair. L’Oréal states that its new device will not raise the temperature to more than 320 degrees Fahrenheit while still being able to provide good styling.
The company claims that the tool is quicker and leaves hair smoother than any other high-end stylers, but independent testing will be required to prove these statements.
The CES 2026 lineup by L’Oréal showcases the changes that the beauty technology is making towards smarter, softer and wearable solutions. Flexible LED masks and lower-heat hair styling instruments are the keystones to an evident combination of science and daily beauty rituals.
Although the precise price and final form are not announced so far, these launches provide a clear idea of where skincare and haircare technology will be going in the near future.
