Woman earns Rs 41 lakh a month by selling spit — pays off debt, buys her first home

A woman named Latiesha Jones once dreamed of becoming a doctor. She was studying biomedical science at university and working part-time at Tesco in Manchester to make ends meet. But a bizarre side hustle changed everything — and made her a small fortune. She now earns upto £41,000 (Rs 45 lakh) a month.

What started as a fluke quickly turned into a full-time gig. Latiesha received a strange request from a man who offered to pay £300 (Rs 33,000) for a bottle of her spit. “I thought it was a joke at first,” she told Mirror. But when the payment landed in her account, she realised she’d stumbled on something big.

Since then, Latiesha has been selling spit, toenail clippings, used gym clothes and even week-old bedsheets to people willing to pay up to £1,500 (Rs 1.65 lakh) for a single item.

Latiesha uses discreet websites to find clients and negotiates based on what she thinks a customer can pay. She typically takes three requests a day and says spit is the most popular item. “It’s easier than OnlyFans,” she said. “I don’t take requests under £100 (Rs 11,000).”

The money has allowed her to pay off £11,000 (Rs 1.2 lakh) in personal and family debt and buy her first flat. Now, she’s even thinking about buying a second property.

“I was so broke in university and I didn't have any money. I needed cash fast, which meant I was working every single hour God could give me at Tesco,” she said. “I ended up dropping out of university in my second year. I was doing these requests and OnlyFans and could live off that. Then I started doing webcam sessions after the requests began.”

Now she earns £3,000 (Rs 3.3 lakh)  to £5,000 (Rs 5.5 lakh) a week from requests alone. She’s also added webcam sessions to her income stream.

“Everyone around me is really supportive. Everyone laughs about it, and my boyfriend is really supportive and my twin sister loves it too,” she shared.

Latiesha but she loves the freedom and financial security her unconventional career brings.
