Honda have given a teaser of the Elevate's latest version, and from the looks of it, it takes cues from the Black Edition while retaining the powertrain.

New Delhi: Honda Car India recently revealed a new teaser for the Elevate. In the teaser, the Japanese car manufacturer showed a silhouette of the new Elevate SUV, offering a glimpse of its design language. In the new edition, the glaring design element is the Black Edition grille accessory.

Right above the grille, the chrome element connecting the headlamps have also been blacked out like the Black Edition. To make it distinctive, a red accent runs along the side of the fog lamp, with two spokes of the alloy wheel. The alloy wheels on this edition of the SUV get gloss black.

This edition could be called the Explorer edition, which has been in the works for a while, and the tagline of being a "Bold companion" only makes it more viable.

Honda Elevate’s powertrain

The new edition of the SUV won’t feature any changes under the bonnet. Which means it is going to have a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder naturally aspirated engine, and it produces 119 bhp and a peak torque of 145 Nm. It is paired with a six-speed manual or a seven-speed CVT. The SUV does get a CNG option, but this is dealer-level fitment.

In terms of features, the Honda Elevate gets Level 2 ADAS and six airbags. Further, Honda’s SUV also gets LaneWatch camera, traction control, hill start assist, Emergency Stop Signal, connected car technology, a touchscreen infotainment system, wireless charging, and much more. 

It comes with a standard 3-year/unlimited kilometre warranty, extendable up to seven years, with a flexible option for coverage of up to 10 years. Roadside assistance is also available from the date of purchase.
