KTM Duke, Adventure prices slashed post GST 2.0
KTM lies on both sides of the GST 2.0 policy, where bikes below 350 cc are getting price cuts. With five bikes below the 350 cc bracket, KTM India have announced the new pricing post GST 2.0.
New Delhi: The GST price hike has come into effect, and all the bikes below 350 cc are going to see a decent price reduction. The manufacturers like KTM, it is a walk on both sides of the park as they have bikes in both sides of the ladder in their portfolio, with some becoming cheaper while others becoming expensive following the new policy.
How the KTM portfolio will look now?
KTM has five bikes in their portfolio that take advantage of the new GST rates: the 160 Duke, 200 Duke, 250 Duke, 250 Adventure and RC 200. The company has given out the new prices for four of these bikes, the 250- Adventure gets the biggest price reduction, going down by Rs 20,000 and then the newly launched made just for India, the 160 Duke, which is cheaper by Rs 14,000.
The 200 Duke is now cheaper by Rs 16,000, and the 250 Duke is now cheaper by Rs 18,000. The prices of the bikes have seen a massive reduction so far, but the pricing of the 390 Duke isn’t yet known, nor is how the big bikes will now be priced.
The KTM joins a host of bike manufacturers who have announced price reductions more recently. The GST 2.0 is coming at the time of the festive season, and a positive monsoon season means the two-wheeler sector will see a rise in demand as well.
