New Delhi: The upcoming facelift of the three-door Mahindra Thar have been spotted in extensive detail. Mahindra haven’t shown much of the off-roader and given few details about when it will be available, but it has been noted that the off-roader will come with quite a few upgrades in the cabin and some changes on the outside.

On the inside, the Thar facelift comes with features like the new three-spoke steering wheel from the Thar Roxx, along with the 10.25-inch infotainment touchscreen. The Thar facelift is taking its interior from the Ross, with the door-inlaid power window switches, grab handles on the A-pillars, a front armrest, a reverse parking camera, likely around the spare wheel and a wireless charger as well in the centre console.

It looks like it has also got a new grille with double-stacked slots, quite like the Thar Roxx. However, not visible in the images, is the Thar facelift’s headlights and tail-lamps are expected to come in C-shaped LED signatures.

The design changes for the Thar facelift seem to be on the milder side. The RWD model in the images even comes with the same 18-inch alloys as the present version, though the previous spy shots of the Thar facelift hinted at redesigned alloy wheels too, most likely for the higher trim.

Inside the bonnet, it will come with the same model’s engine options, a 152 bhp, 2.0-litre petrol, a 1.5-litre turbo-diesel making 119 bhp, and a 132 bhp making 2.2-litre turbo-diesel. A six-speed manual gearbox will be there for all engines, with petrol and 2.2-litre diesel units coming with a six-speed torque converter automatic.
