Vinfast announce pricing for VF7 and VF6
Vinfast have announced their arrival in the Indian market after announcing the prices of their two cars, the VF6 and VF7. Both EVs are filled with features and target a wide audience.
New Delhi: Vinfast, the EV brand from Vinfast, have launched the VF7 SUV in India, and is being priced between Rs 20.89 lakh and the range-topping trim will come at Rs 25.59 lakh. The VF7 will act as the brand’s flagship model and will be sold alongside the VF6. The VF6 range is much small, with three trims, starting at Rs 16.49 lakh and will have a top price of Rs 18.29 lakh.
The VF7 entry-level model comes with a 59.6 kWh battery, while the other variants use a 70.8 kWh LFP battery that supports AC and DC fast charging (CCS2). The smaller battery is only FWD while the larger one gets two driving layouts, a 204 bhp and 310 Nm torque making, front-wheel drive and a 350 bhp and 500 Nm all-wheel-drive configuration. The FWD has a WLTP cycle of 70.8 kWh, has a single charging range of 450 km (FWD) and 431 km.
The VF6 comes with a 59.6 kWh battery pack, paired with a front-mounted electric motor. Powertrain output is 0f 204 bhp and 310 Nm of torque with a WLTP range of 480 km. It can go from 0-100 kph in just 8.89 seconds. For charging, it is equipped with 3.3 kW and 7.2 kWh AC chargers.

On the outside, the VF7 gets the Vinfast signature ‘V Face’ LED DRLs at the front, beneath which lie LED headlights. The bumper comes with a concave design, and the air dams come with brushed metal trims. The muscular runs go across the body, and the flush door handles it quite a clean look. The SUV in India comes with 19-inch wheels and a ground clearance of 190 mm.
On the inside, it has a 12.9-inch touchscreen, wireless phone charging, a large fixed glass roof, dual-zone climate control, front ventilated seats and even reclinable seats. Physical buttons are much less, and most of the functions, like most EVs, are operated from the infotainment screen. Heads-up display replaces the driver’s display. As standard, it gets seven airbags, a radar-based ADAS suite, and the Level 2 depends on the trim.
VF6 interior and exterior
On the outside, it resembles the VF7 and comes with full-width LED DRL strips on the front and back, flowing to the Vinfast emblems. The VF6 comes with plastic cladding all around and a sloping roofline. It is equipped with 18-inch alloy wheels.
On the inside, the VF6 is again much like its elder sibling, coming with a 12.9-inch freestanding infotainment touchscreen, and the Indian spec gets a heads-up display like the bigger Vinfast SUV.
The VF6 is very well equipped, and comes with things like panoramic glass roof, wireless charger, ventilated front seats, dual-zone climate control, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It gets the seven-airbag as standard as well and comes with Level 2 ADAS, auto park assist and automatic headlights, rain-sensing wipers and the lot.
