State Bank of India (SBI) has made a change in interest rates on Retail Domestic Term Deposits up to Rs. 3 crore from June 15, 2025. The new rates are applicable for general customers as well as senior citizens on different tenors, allowing the depositors to earn maximum returns.

With inflation and market volatility affecting financial planning, fixed deposits are a favored option for risk-conscious investors in search of secure returns. SBI's updated rates look to boost the appeal of fixed deposits, particularly for senior citizens, who can avail themselves of extra interest rates. The revisions also demonstrate the bank's policy of keeping up with competitive deposit rates while adapting to changing economic conditions.
