TCS Q1 2025-26 Results: Net profit increases 6% to Rs 12,760 crore, dividend announced
TCS announced its first quarterly results for the April-May quarter on July 10, 2025. The company minted a profit of Rs 12760 crore, recording an increase of 6 percent. TCS announced an interim dividend of Rs 11 per equity share. The record date for dividend has been set as 16th July 2025.
New Delhi: TCS (Tata Consultancy Services) declared its Q1 2025-26 Results on on Thursday, 10th July 2025. The country's largest IT services company by market capitalisation said that its revenue increased up to 1.3 percent to Rs 63,437 crore in the April-June quarter of FY26.
TCS reported a 6 percent rise in its net profit at Rs 12760 crore in its first quarter (April-June ). The company posted had minted a net profit of Rs 12040 crore in the corresponding period of last year.
The operating revenue of the company stands at Rs 63437 crore. The current revenue figure saw an increase of 1.3 percent from the previous year figure of Rs 62613 crore in the same period.
As per a company statement, its operating profit margin witnessed an increase of 0.30 percent to 24.5 percent from its previous quarter.
TCS announces dividend
The company has announced an interim dividend of Rs 11 per equity share of Rs 1 face value each. The interim dividend shall be paid on August 4, 2025, to the equity shareholders of the company, the company said in its statement. TCS has set the record date for the dividend at July 16th, 2025.
"The continued global macro-economic and geopolitical uncertainties caused a demand contraction," its managing director and chief executive K Krithivasan said.
The IT behemoth has reported signings of new deals worth $9.4 billion during the April-May quarter. The overall headcount of the company stands at 613,069 at the end of the quarter, up by 6000 more headcount in the above-mentioned period.
TCS Share Price
TCS shares closed at Rs 3382.30 apiece as per BSE, witnessing a 0.06 percent decrease. The overall market performed negatively, with SENSEX going 345 points down. The market capitallisation of the company stands at Rs 12.23 lakh crore. The price-to-earnings ratio (P/E ratio) of the company is 25.20. The company reached its 52-week high at Rs 4,585.90, while the 52-week low stand at Rs 3,060.25.
