Assam Police Constable Recruitment 2026: Notification out for 1715 posts

Guwahati: The State Level Police Recruitment Board (SLPRB) has released the recruitment notification for the posts of Constable (UB) and Constable (AB) in the Assam Police. The Assam Police Constable recruitment 2026 notification was released for a total of 1715 vacancies, of which 1052 posts are for Constable (UB) and 663 posts for Constable (AB). 

Interested candidates who meet the eligibility conditions set by the SLPRB can apply online for Assam Police Constable vacancy 2026 through the official portal at slprbassam.in. The online registration window will be available from December 16, 2025, to January 16, 2026. All the candidates who qualify in the exam will be eligible for the Pay Scale of Rs 14,000-70,000 with Grade Pay Rs 5,600 and other allowances. There will be no application fee. 

Step 1: Open the official portal of SLPRB at slprbassam.in

Step 2: Go to the Recruitment page 

Step 3: Find the Constable (UB) and (AB) registration link 

Step 4: Fill in the application form with all details including academic and personal 

Step 5: Scan and upload all the mandatory documents along with the photograph and signature 

Step 6: Submit the SLPRB Assam Constable registration form 

Step 7: Download and keep the hard copy of application form for future need 

Candidates must have passed class 12 from a recognised board for Constable (UB). However, one must have passed HSLC or Class 10 from a recognised board. The age limit is 18 to 25 years as on January 1, 2026.
