Bengaluru: A 30-year-old man from LR Nagar in Bengaluru has been arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a 21-year-old differently-abled woman at her home in Koramangala. The incident took place on November 10, when the accused, identified as Vikram, is believed to have forced his way into the victim’s residence while under the influence of marijuana.

According to the police investigation, the young woman, who has both speech and mobility impairments, was alone when Vikram entered the house by unlatching the door. He allegedly began removing her clothes, leaving her terrified and unable to call for help. The assault came to light when her mother returned home from a wedding function and found her daughter distressed and partially undressed.
