Hyderabad: Nampally CBI court receives bomb threat
Police evacuated the court staff and lawyers and deployed bomb and dog squads, conducting searches inside and around the court premises.
The Nampally CBI court in the city received a bomb threat via an email stating that a bomb would explode at the court premises at 2 PM.
Immediately after the threat was issued, the police evacuated the court staff and lawyers and deployed bomb and dog squads, conducting searches inside and around the court premises.
More police teams were deployed at the court as a number of people visit the judicial institution to attend hearings related to various pending cases.
30 people injured in bus accident:
In a separate incident, about 30 people were injured when an RTC bus met with an accident in Komarambheem Asifabad district. The bus was on its way from Parandoli to Adilabad when the accident occurred. The bus lost control at Parandoli ghat section veered off the road and crashed into a cotton field, reports said. All the injured individuals were admitted to RIMS Hospital in Adilabad and are reportedly in a stable condition.
Major fire breaks out at construction site in Chandanagar:
A major fire broke out at a construction site in Chandanagar police station limits. The fire broke out after a cylinder blast explosion at the site of 50-strorey building. Three fire engines reached the spot and doused the flames.
