Hyderabad records the coldest morning of the season; IMD forecasts cold wave for Telangana

Minimum temperatures are likely to be below normal by 3°C to 4°C at some places over the next 3-4 days over Telangana, IMD said.

Hyderabad: Serilingampally area of the city recorded the lowest temperature of 8°C followed by Rajendra Nagar (8.5°C), BHEL (9.4°C), Sivaramapalle (10.9°C), Quthbullapur (11.5°C) Maredpally (11.6°C) Alwal (12.0°C) Bollaram (12.3°C Kishanbagh (12.3°C) On the outskirts, Ibrahimpatnam recorded 7.6°C, on Tuesday morning, as per Telangana Development Planning Society data.

Meanwhile, Tiryani mandal in Komarambheem Asifabad recorded the lowest temperature of the season so far with 6.1°C followed by Bheempoor in Adilabad (6.3°C), Jharasangam mandal in Sangareddy (6.4°C), Zaheerabad, Kohir mandals in Sangareddy (6.8°C), Mominpet mandal in Vikarabad (6.9°C).

IMD weather forecast:

As per India Meteorological Department, minimum temperatures are likely to be below normal by 3°C to 4°C at some places over the next 3-4 days over Telangana.

Cold wave conditions are very likely to prevail in some places in Adilabad, Komarambheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Sangareddy, Medak, Kamareddy districts, IMD Hyderabad said in its forecast. Cold wave is likely to last for at least 10 days, weather experts said.
