Telangana government grants Rs 1,000 crore to Osmania University for infrastructure development

Hyderabad: Telangana government has sanctioned Rs 1,000 crore to Osmania University, Hyderabad for infrastructure development in Osmania campus in Hyderabad.
On Wednesday, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy held a public meeting at Osmania University Arts College.
Speaking at the meeting, Revanth Reddy said, "I came with the determination to make this university meet international standards. There were many struggles in Telangana against domination. Common people like Chakali Ailamma and Doddi Komurayya fought against the aristocrats. OU has given heroes like George Reddy and Gaddar to Telangana.”
Ministers Ponnam Prabhakar, Adluri Laxman, Government Advisors K, Kesava Rao, Vem Narender Reddy, G. Chinna Reddy, Former MP V. Hanumantha Rao, Professor Kodandaram, Osmania VC Kumar, Professor Kasim, MLAs, MLCs, BC Commission, Education Commission members, high officials, students were also present at the meeting.
Telangana setting up Rs 1,000 crore startup fund: Revanth Reddy
Attending the launch Google for startups Hub in partnership with Telangana government, the CM said that the vision is for Hyderabad to become hub for not juts startups but also unicorns.
"Today, the Government of Telangana and Google are coming together to create a support system for you. My government is creating Rs 1,000 crore startup fund of funds. Use these funds and become the next Google,” he said.
The state government organised Telangana Rising 2047 Global Summit on December 8, 9, where it shared its vision to become a USD one trillion economy by 2034 and USD three trillion economy by 2047, Reddy said.
