Two students from Hyderabad die in road accident in UK
The youngsters were identified as Tarre Chaitanya, 23, hailing from Nadargul and Rishi Teja, 21, from Uppal.
Two students from Hyderabad were killed in a horrific road accident in the United Kingdom after a serious collision, tv9 telugu reported.
The accident took place at the Dual Carriageway A130 at Rayleigh Spur roundabout when nine friends were travelling towards Southend-on-Sea, Essex Police said.
The youngsters identified as Tarre Chaitanya, 23, hailing from Nadargul and Rishi Teja, 21, from Uppal, were a part of the group of nine, who went to immerse Ganesh idol in two cars. While returning, the cars reportedly collided with each other.
Five others were injured in the incident and are being treated at the hospital. Two of them are said to be critical. All the victims identified were from Telugu states.
Chaitanya is the youngest son of Nadargul and Mangamma. He went to London 8 months ago for higher studies after completing his B Tech.
Family members of the deceased were informed on Monday night.
Reports also suggest that two drivers of the cars were arrested by Essex Police and are facing charges of causing death by dangerous driving.
