Video: Hot Air Balloon festival flagged off near Golconda Fort in Hyderabad
Minister of Tourism and Culture Jupally Krishna Rao officially inaugurated the hot air balloon festival and participated in a 13-km aerial ride.
Hyderabad: More than ten hot air balloons carrying nearly 10 passengers took off from the Hyderabad Golf Club near Golconda Fort, flying across the city on early Friday morning.
Minister of Tourism and Culture Jupally Krishna Rao officially inaugurated the hot air balloon festival and participated in a ride, as part of the opening festivities, adding a new attraction to Telangana’s tourism calendar.

The minister enjoyed a 13-km aerial ride, calling it a "truly memorable” experience and a symbol of Destination Telangana reaching new heights.

A hot air balloon show will be held at Parade Grounds on Jan 16, 17 from 4 PM onwards. City residents will have the opportunity to ride in a hot air balloon with a ticket.
