AISSEE Sainik School admission 2026 city intimation slip released for January 18 exam

New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued the All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination (AISSEE) 2026 city intimation slip for admission to Class 6 and Class 9. The AISSEE city intimation slip 2026 download link is available on the official website, exams.nta.nic.in/sainik-school-society. The AISSEE 2026 city intimation slip can be accessed online by logging in with the valid application number and password.

The AISSEE city intimation slip has information on the exam city and centre. The exam city where the centre is located, the name of the candidate, date of birth, registration number, exam date and other relevant information are mentioned in the city slip. The AISSEE admit card 2026 will be available for download four days before the exam.

The AISSEE 2026 exam city intimation slip can be accessed by following the below mentioned steps-

  • Step 1: At first, visit the official website, exams.nta.nic.in/sainik-school-society/ or nta.ac.in
  • Step 2: Next, click on the 'AISSEE 2026 advance city intimation' link available on the homepage.
  • Step 3: Enter the valid application number, password, and security pin in the login page.
  • Step 4: Download the AISSEE city intimation slip.

The AISSEE 2026 exam will be held offline on January 18. For Class 6, there will be a total of 125 questions from mathematics, general knowledge, language and intelligence. The paper will carry a total of 300 marks. For Class 9, there will be 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) from mathematics, English, intelligence, general science and social studies. There will be no negative marking for unanswered or incorrect responses. NTA will announce the AISSEE result 2026 in March 2026. 

Recently, NTA added three new Sainik Schools under the AISSEE 2026 exam which include Srri SPK Public Senior Secondary School, Tamil Nadu; Vadem Nagar Higher Secondary School, Goa and Yogeshwari Sainik School, Ambajogai, Maharashtra.
