APAAR ID optional for Clas 9 to 12 exam application 2026 application: MPBSE board

The MP Board Class 9 exam application process is underway and students need to enroll by September 30. However, one can also complete the enrolment till November 30 by paying a late fee amount of Rs 300.

New Delhi: The Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education has recently stated that the Automated Permanent Academic Account Registry (APAAR) ID will be optional in the MPBSE Class 9 to 12 exam 2026 appliction. Earlier, the board made it mandatory to have APAAR ID for all exam application.

However, the changes implemented is for the upcoming academic session. The board has clearly announced that from the academic session 2026–27 onwards, an APAAR ID will be compulsory foe all exam application process.

The MPBSE board's official notice reads, 'In view of the facts mentioned in the referenced letter, for the academic session 2025–26, the APAAR ID will be optional in the application forms to be filled for Classes 9 to 12. From the next academic session, 2026–27, this provision will be mandatory.'

The MP Board Class 9 exam application process is underway and the last date to complete the enrolment is September 30. Students can also complete their enrolment till November 30 by paying a late fee of Rs 300.

Those who took admission in the 2024–25 session and failed to get enrolled in Class 9 or 11 can complete it by paying a late fee amount along with the enrolment fee. The late fee amount is Rs 1,000 and the last date to apply is September 30, 2025.

MPBSE Class 10, 12 exam application

The application process for MP board Class 10, Class 12, and Diploma in Pre-School Education (DPSE) exams will end on September 15. Students nned to pay Rs 1,200 as the application fee.

As per the board the Class 10 admission lists and exam application forms will be filled online on the basis of Class 9 enrolment for the 2025–26 academic session.

What is APAAR ID?

APAAR ID is a 12 digit code which students can create by registering through Digilocker or the Academic Bank of Credits portal. The aadhaar and academic details are required to create the ID.  Through the APAAR ID one can create a comprehensive and permanent digital record of the academic performance of a students which include scorecards, marksheets, degrees, diplomas, certificates and co-curricular achievements .
