CUET PG 2026 registration, fee payment date extended again; fill form by January 23
As per the CUET PG revised schedule, the application form correction process will start on January 28. The last date to make correction in the application form is January 30.
New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the Common University Entrance Test for Postgraduate (CUET PG) 2026 application date again. Candidates can now apply for the CUET PG 2026 exam till January 23. The CUET PG entrance exam 2026 application link is available on the official website, exams.nta.nic.in/cuet-pg. The application fee payment last date is January 25.
Earlier, the last date to apply for CUET PG 2026 was January 14; however, it was extended to January 20 and then again to January 23. As per the CUET PG revised dates, the application form correction can be done between January 28 to January 30 till 11:50 PM.
CUET PG application fee
The CUET PG registration fee for the general category candidates is Rs 700, while the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Other Backward Caste- Non Creamy Layer (OBC-NCL) category candidates is Rs 600.
Those who are applying for two papers need to pay double the fee. For applicants outside India, the fee is Rs 3,500 for one subject paper.
How to register for CUET PG 2026?
To register and apply for the CUET PG exam 2026, candidates first need to go to the CUET PG portal. Then click on the 'New Registration' link and fill in the basic details to generate the login credentials. Next, log in and proceed to fill out the application form with personal and academic details. Upload the required documents and make payment of the CUET PG application fee. Submit your application form and take a printout of the confirmation page for record.
The CUET PG 2026 exam will be held in computer-based mode. The paper will have 75 multiple-choice questions for 300 marks. For each correct answer, 4 marks will be awarded and one mark will be deducted for the incorrect response. This year the exam conducting authority has reduced the number of CUET PG 2026 exam cities to 292 which was 312 cities last year.
