New Delhi: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay has extended the Joint Admission Test for Masters (JAM) 2026 application form correction last date. Candidates can now make changes in the IIT JAM application form 2026 till November 13. Earlier, the last date for the IIT JAM 2026 application correction was November 10, 2026.
The application correction link can be accessed by logging into the profile through the JAM Online Application Processing System (JOAPS) portal available on the official website, jam2026.iitb.ac.in.
The name of the candidate, category, date of birth, exam city and paper can be edited. In the correction process, more papers can also be added. To make changes in the date of birth, gender, category or exam city an additional fee of Rs 300 per change is required to be paid. For additional test papers or a change in the selected paper, a deposit of Rs 300 is required. Applicants need to know that there is a requisite application correction fee for each category.
IITB will hold the JAM 2026 exam on February 15. The exam will be conducted in two sessions. Session will be held from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM and session 2 from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM. JAM 2026 will be conducted for a total of seven test papers which include biotechnology (BT), chemistry (CY), economics (EN), geology(GG), mathematics (MA), mathematical statistics (MS), and physics (PH). A candidate can appear in a maximum of two test papers, given if not scheduled in the same session.
The JAM 2026 scores will be accepted to fill a total of 3,000 seats in postgraduate programmes in various disciplines at a total of 22 IITs. To be eligible for IIT JAM, candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from a recognised university.
