MHT CET 2026 registration for UG admission begins; apply at cetcell.mahacet.org

Candidates can apply online for MHT CET 2026 till February 12. The MHT CET 2026 session 1 exam will be held from April 11 to April 26 and May 10 to May 17. The session 2 exam is scheduled from April 6 to April 9.

New Delhi: The State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell, Maharashtra, has started the MHT CET 2026 registration process for admission to various undergraduate (UG) programmes in the institutions across the state. Candidates can apply online for MHT CET 2026 through the official website, cetcell.mahacet.org. The MHT CET 2026 application form can be submitted till February 12.

A valid APAAR ID and Aadhaar number are mandatory to complete the MHT CET application. The MHT CET application fee for the general category candidates is Rs 1,300. The reserved category candidates need to pay Rs 1,000 as the application fee.

MHT CET exam date

The MHT CET 2026 exam is scheduled to be held in two sessions. Session 1 will be conducted between April 11 to April 26 and May 10 to May 17, while session 2 from April 6 to April 9 for Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics(PCM) and Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB) candidates.  MHT CET is conducted to shortlist candidates for admission to engineering, pharmacy, agriculture, and management courses offered by colleges across the state of Maharashtra.

Steps to apply for MHT CET 2026

To apply for Maharashtra CET 2026, candidates must follow the steps mentioned below-

  • Step 1: First of all, go to the official website of Maharashtra CET Cell
  • Step 2: Then, on the homepage, click on the 2026-27 academic year link
  • Step 3: Click on new registration and enter the required details to generate the login credentials
  • Step 4: Next, proceed to fill out the application form with personal and academic details.
  • Step 5: Upload the necessary documents in the specified format.
  • Step 6: Make payment of the registration fee.
  • Step 7: Once done, save the form and click on submit.
  • Step 8: Take the printout of the confirmation page for record.
