New Delhi: The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2025 ranking will be released in due course of time by the Ministry of Education (MoE). While it is expected to be released in the month of August, the official date is yet to be announced. However, due to data evaluation complexities, the MoE have delayed this year's ranking.
The School of Planning and Architecture (SPA), Delhi, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur,Chandigarh College of Architecture,NIT Calicut are considered to be some of the best institutes in the country to pursue the Architecture and Planning course. As per last year's NIRF ranking, IIT Roorkee tops for the Architecture and Planning programme, followed by IIT Kharagpur in the second position and NIT Calicut in the third.
Private institutions such as CEPT University (Ahmedabad), Manipal School of Architecture and Planning, and Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra are also considered some of the best colleges and universities for the Architecture programme.For updates on the ranking, one can check the official NIRF website and the Ministry of Education website. This year's rankings are likely to include the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) metrics and penalties for retracted research papers
