Pariksha Pe Charcha 2026 application open; PPC 9th edition in January

Those who are interested can participate in the interactive session by applying through innovateindia1.mygov.in. The last date for PPC 2026 application is January 11. Students from Class 6 onwards are eligible to be a part of the event.

New Delhi: The 9th edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha (PPC) 2026 is set to be held in January. Students, parents and teachers who are interested can participate in the interactive session by applying through MyGov's official portal at innovateindia1.mygov.in. The last date for PPC 2026 application is January 11.

Students from Class 6 onwards are eligible to be a part of the event. The registered participants gets a certificate of participation from MyGov after completing the activity as per officials.

PPC 8th edition was held on February 10, 2025. A total of 36 students from every state and union territory’s government schools, Kendriya Vidyalayas, Sainik Schools, Eklavya Model Residential Schools, Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) schools and Navodaya Vidyalayas were a part of the 8th edition.

The official notice reads, 'The programme has witnessed extraordinary growth rising from just 22,000 participants in 1st edition in 2018 to 3.56 crore registrations in 8th edition in 2025-a clear relevance and consequent popularity. Along with this, 1.55 crore people took part in nationwide Jan Andolan activities related to PPC 2025, bringing the total participation to nearly 5 crore.'

With the participation of students from over 245 countries, teachers from 154 nations and parents from 149 countries last year PPC set a Guinness World Record.

Pariksha Pe Charcha is an annual interactive session led by PM Modi. In the event, the PM engages with students, parents and teachers from across the country. In the session, the discussions focus on exam stress, mental health, anxiety and other important issues.

Participants for the PPC event are generally selected through a competition. The winners are given a chance to attend the event. While, some of them get a chance to interact directly with the Prime Minister.
