New Delhi: The most-awaited Pariksha Pe Charcha is back. The ninth edition of PPC 2026 will be conducted in the month of January. To turn exam season into a celebration of knowledge, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has started the initiative of Pariksha Pe Charcha, where he interacts with students, teachers and parents.
PM Modi said, "The Class X and XII Board Exams are approaching and so is this year’s Pariksha Pe Charcha. Looking forward to interacting with students, parents and teachers on different aspects of exams, most notably ways to overcome exam stress, remaining calm, confident and appearing for exams with a smile."

Over 4 core registers for Pariksha Pe Charcha 2026
According to the official data as of January 8, 2026, a total of 4,05,81,955 registered for the ninth edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha 2026. The online competition on the MyGov portal will be held from December 1 to January 11 to shortlist participants for the event. Students from Classes 6 to 12, along with teachers and parents, are eligible to participate in this online competition.
Guinness World Records recognised the 'Pariksha Pe Charcha 2025' program for its historic 3.53 crore registrations. This year, with the number of registrations exceeding 4 crore, it is going to be even bigger. Students, parents and teachers should note that the last date to complete the registration for Pariksha Pe Charcha 2026 is January 11.
