Pariksha Pe Charcha 2026: Over 3 crore registrations received for PM Modis PPC
The 9th edition of 'Pariksha Pe Charcha' is set to be even grander, as registrations have crossed the 3 crore mark. Prime Minister Modi will interact with students, parents, and teachers to support students in achieving all their dreams and goals.
New Delhi: The ninth edition of Pariksha pe Charcha (PPC) has received over three crore registrations for participation in Prime Minister Narendra Modi's annual interaction event with students. The data was shared by officials from the Ministry of Education (MoE).
The organiser of the event is conducting an online competition on the MyGov portal from December 1 to January 11 to shortlist participants for the event. Students from Classes 6 to 12, besides teachers and parents, are also eligible to participate in this online competition.
"Over three crore registrations have already been received for the PM's Pariksha Pe Charcha, which is scheduled later this month," PTI quoted a senior MoE official.
Recalling Pariksha pe Charcha 2025
The eighth edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha was broadcast on February 10, 2023. The interaction was held in an innovative new format at Sunder Nursery, Delhi. A total of 36 students interacted with Prime Minister Modi from across states and Union Territories, representing government schools, Kendriya Vidyalayas, Navodaya Vidyalayas, Sainik schools, Eklavya Model Residential schools and CBSE schools.
The PPC 2025 edition also featured a total of seven separate episodes covering topics such as sports, discipline, mental health, nutrition, technology, finance, creativity and positivity, offering inspiring insights from renowned personalities.
Last year, the Pariksha Pe Charcha drew participation from more than 245 countries, teachers from 153 countries and parents from 149 countries.
The first edition of PPC has started in 2018 with just 22,000 participants. Guinness World Records recognised the 8th edition PPC 2025 for a historic 3.53 crore registrations. This year, it is going to be bigger and further to encourage joyful learning and stress-free exams.
