Candidates who names are in the TNEA counselling round 2 seat allotment list will have to confirm seats by July 30. As per the TNEA schedule, the provisional allotment for 'accept and join' and tentative allotment for 'accept and upward' will be available from July 31.
New Delhi: The Directorate of Technical Education, Chennai has released the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) counselling 2025 round 2 seat allotment result. Candidates can check the TNEA round 2 allotment result by visiting the official website, tneaonline.org.
The necessary login credentials which include the email ID and password are required to access and download the allotment letter. Candidates who names are in the round 2 allotment list will have to confirm the seats by tomorrow, July 30.
DTE, Chennai's official notice reads, 'Tentative allotment has been released for all applicable second round candidate, request you to login and confirm the allotment on or before 30-07-2025, 5 PM, if you fail to confirm your allotment it will be stand as cancelled.'
TNEA 2025 Counselling Round 2 Allotment Result: Steps to check online
Candidates can follow the below mentioned steps to download the TNEA 2025 round 2 seat allotment letter-
- Step 1: First, go to TNEA's official website, tneaonline.org
- Step 2: Next, on the homepage navigate and click on the 'Round 2 Seat Allotment Result 2025' link.
- Step 3: The log in page appears on the screen where candidates need to enter the registered email ID and password.
- Step 4: Once done, the TNEA round 2 seat allotment result will appear.
- Step 5: Check and download the allotment letter as it will be required for further admission process.
The TNEA provisional allotment for 'accept and join' and tentative allotment for 'accept and upward' will be made available from July 31. The college joining and TNEA Facilitation Centres (TFC) reporting will be between July 31 to August 4.
As per the TNEA counselling schedule, the round 2 provisional allotment for upward option candidates will be released before August 7, 2025.
TNEA 2025 counselling is conducted in a total of three rounds. The TNEA round 3 counselling choice filling can be done between August 7 to August 9. DTE, Chennai conducts the TNEA counselling to allot seats in undergraduate engineering programmes across the state of Tamil Nadu. The counselling for admission to Bachelor of Technology (BTech), Bachelor of Engineering (BE) programmes in government and private colleges is on the basis of merit in Class 12 exam as no entrance exam is conducted.
